Wicked Fast Halloween 5K & 10K (Tacoma)
The Wicked Fast Halloween Run takes place on Saturday, October 31, 2026, at Dune Peninsula Park in Tacoma. The event offers multiple distances: a 5K, a 10K, and a Kids 1K around Dune Peninsula Park.
The 5K and 10K use a single out-and-back route along Tacoma’s waterfront and the Water Walk. The course is described as flat and fast and passes local landmarks such as the Giant Octopus mural and Frank Herbert’s Spice Worm statue art. Both the 5K and 10K courses are USATF certified (WA24032RMB for the 5K and WA24031RMB for the 10K).
Registration for the 5K and 10K includes a tri-blend shirt and a Halloween-themed finisher medal; Kids 1K finishers receive a ribbon. Team discounts apply with $5 refunds when teams reach sizes of 4, 10, and 15. A portion of proceeds benefits the Humane Society of Tacoma & Pierce County. Event policies state entry fees are non-refundable, transfers and roll-overs are not allowed, and participants under 18 require a parent or guardian waiver. Packet pickup is available before race day and gear check and finish-line food and beverages are provided. Results and race photos are posted online after the event.
