Wicked Fast Halloween 5K, 10K and Kids 1K : Tacoma
The event offers a Halloween themed road race program with three distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Kids 1K around Dune Peninsula Park
Both the 5K and 10K use a single out and back course along Tacoma waterfront and Dune Peninsula Park. The course is described as flat and fast and passes local public art, including a Giant Octopus mural and a Spice Worm statue. The Kids 1K runs a loop around Dune Peninsula Park and finishes at the main finish line.
Registration for 2026 opens May 15, 2026. Entry for the 5K and 10K includes a commemorative finisher medal and a tri-blend t-shirt when ordered by the stated cutoff date. All participants receive a collective bib; optional merchandise may be offered during registration. Team registration discounts apply for groups that reach specified sizes. A portion of proceeds benefits the Humane Society of Tacoma & Pierce County.
Packet pickup is available the day before the race at a local store in Tacoma. Race day packet pickup and gear check are offered at the start area; runners receive a bib with an attached timing chip and a gear check tear tag. Awards include overall male and female honors and age group ribbons for top finishers in multiple age brackets. Timing and race photos are provided by designated vendors.
