Event Details
The event features three separate activities: a Kids Fun Run, a 5K Run, and a 5K Walk. They all take place at the White House Fruit Farm on 9249 Youngstown-Salem Road in Canfield, Ohio.
Course and Location
The 5K course is described as a true cross-country route through the farm's fields and orchards, with minimal hard surface. The Kids Fun Run follows a cross-country course around the farm's pond. Pets and strollers are not permitted on the course.
Registration and Logistics
Registration and check-in on the day of the event begins at 8:00 AM at the farm. Participants who pre-register by April 17 will receive a t-shirt and/or medal, plus refreshments. Restrooms are available on site. An awards ceremony is held immediately after the races.
Timing and Awards
The 5K Run is professionally chip-timed. Cash awards are given to the top three overall male and female winners: $100 for first, $75 for second, and $50 for third. Awards are also given to the top three male and female finishers in standard age groups.
