Wheel Run for Meals
Wheel Run for Meals is a community running event on May 16, 2026 in Beloit, Wisconsin. The event includes two distances and benefits Beloit Meals on Wheels. The course starts near Maple Avenue and Shore Drive, crosses the Ken Hendricks Memorial Bridge, follows the Steve Gregg Memorial Path along the Rock River, circles the lagoon at Riverside Park, and returns to the start area. The organizers describe the course as very flat and fast.
The event offers chip timing. Awards are given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male and female finishers by age group in both distances. Top male and female overall finishers in each distance receive a $100 prize. Entry fees are stated as Adults $20 and Children under 17 $15 before the specified date, and higher on race day; all registrations are online and there is no in-person registration. One hundred percent of proceeds benefit Beloit Meals on Wheels. Optional race t-shirts are available for an additional $15 and must be ordered by Friday, May 2nd.
There is ample free parking at the Beloit Meals on Wheels office or within three blocks of the start and finish. The race rules note that no rollerblades, skateboards, strollers, or pets are allowed on the racecourse. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
