Course and logistics
The course starts at the corner of Maple Avenue and Shore Drive, crosses the Ken Hendricks Memorial Bridge, follows the Steve Gregg Memorial Path along the Rock River, circles the lagoon at Riverside Park, and returns to the start area. The course is described as very flat and is chip timed.
Awards will be given 1st-3rd place male and female by age group for both the 5K and 10K. Top male and female overall finishers in each distance will receive a $100 prize. Standard event listing price is $20 per event. All registrations are online only; there is no in-person registration. Optional race t-shirts are available for an additional $15 and must be ordered by Friday, May 2.
Packet pickup is handled at the Beloit Meals on Wheels office at 1534 Shore Drive. There is free parking at that office or within three blocks of the start/finish. Rollerblades, skateboards, strollers and pets are not allowed on the racecourse. Race results will be posted by the organizers and the official timing service.
