Westmeath Road Championship 2026
The Westmeath Road Championship 2026 is an 8k road race held in Mullingar on June 17, 2026, on the Old Rail Trail. Entry is restricted to members of athletic clubs in Westmeath or to people who live in Westmeath. The event is subject to a permit that is pending approval.
Athletes must be at least 15 years of age on the day of the race to take part. Entries may be accepted on the day of the event as well as through advance ticketing. A single entry ticket is listed at €5.00; online tickets are offered during a specified sales period in April to June 2026.
Prizes are awarded with medals for first, second and third places in Senior Men and Senior Women categories. Medals are also awarded in Master Men and Master Women categories across the following age groups: over 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65 and 70.
