West Virginia Trilogy
The West Virginia Trilogy is a series of three trail runs held on the Eastern Continental Divide in the Monongahela National Forest. The event takes place near Spruce Knob and Seneca Rocks in Circleville, WV during Columbus Day Weekend, October 9–11, 2026.
Distances for the three days are:
- 50 kilometers (Day One)
- 50 miles (Day Two)
- 13.1 miles (Day Three)
Race headquarters is located at the Spruce Knob Mountain Center’s 400 acre outdoor education facility, situated in the shadow of Spruce Knob. The event is organized by the West Virginia Mountain Trail Runners in collaboration with the Spruce Knob Mountain Center. The course uses trails around Spruce Mountain and within the Spruce Knob – Seneca Rocks National Recreation Area, featuring forested and mountain terrain typical of the Monongahela National Forest.
