West Virginia Trilogy
The West Virginia Trilogy is a series of three trail runs held on the Eastern Continental Divide near Spruce Knob and Seneca Rocks, in Circleville, WV. The event is organized by the West Virginia Mountain Trail Runners in partnership with the Spruce Knob Mountain Center. Race headquarters is at the Spruce Knob Mountain Center’s 400 acre outdoor education facility located beneath Spruce Knob, within the Monongahela National Forest.
The program takes place over Columbus Day Weekend, October 9-11. Courses use trails on Spruce Mountain and routes through the Spruce Knob - Seneca Rocks National Recreation Area. The event materials describe the area as largely forested and remote, and the organizers provide course descriptions and additional event details.
