West U Halloween Dash and Kids' Fun Run : October 31, 2026
The West U Halloween Dash and Kids' Fun Run is a community running event held at the West U Community Center, 6104 Auden, Houston, TX 77005. The 2026 edition marks the event's 15th anniversary and takes place in West University Place.
Two race options are offered:
- 5K, chip timed, USATF certified, stroller and dog division
- 1 mile, Kids Fun Run, untimed
The 5K course is described as flat and fast and uses chip timing. The Kids Fun Run is not timed and covers one mile.
Registration for the events opens May 4, 2026 and closes October 1, 2026. Posted registration fees are $35.00 for the 5K and $30.00 for the Kids Fun Run.
