Event overview

The Werewolf Chase Free Fun Run takes place on Saturday, October 18, 2025, in Fort Wayne, IN. The event is free and is based at Fort Wayne Outfitters, 1004 Cass St, Fort Wayne, IN 46808. Participants run a 3-mile course through the downtown Fort Wayne trail network while people in werewolf roles pursue the field. Runners, walkers and strollers start together and all participants receive a five-minute head start before the chase phase begins.

Course and logistics

Participants wear flag football belts supplied by the Getting Miles crew and must return the belt at the finish. Those who finish with both flags receive candy and a medal. The course is wheelchair friendly. There is no aid station on the course; water and snacks are provided at the start/finish area.
