Werewolf Chase Free Fun Run
The Werewolf Chase Free Fun Run is a free running event held on October 17, 2026, at Fort Wayne Outfitters, 1004 Cass St, Fort Wayne, IN 46808. The route uses the downtown Fort Wayne trail network and is listed as wheelchair friendly. The course distance is 3.1 miles.
Participants wear flag football belts supplied by the Getting Miles crew. Runners, walkers, and strollers begin the course with a five minute head start before werewolf chasers begin pursuit. There is no aid station on the course; water and snacks are provided at the start and finish area.
Awards and recognitions include prizes for fastest runners, best dressed, and age group awards for top youth finishers. Age group categories include 7 and under, 8–11, 12–17, and 18 and over. Packet pickup is available at Fort Wayne Outfitters and Bike Depot before the event and on the morning of the run.
The UAW Local 2209 Community Service Committee will be collecting non-perishable food donations at the event to support local food lockers and families in need. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
