The Welterbelauf Zollverein is an annual athletics event organized by LT-Stoppenberg, held at the Zollverein Coal Mine Industrial Complex, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The event features various competitions, including a 10 km main run, a 5 km fun run, and a series of shorter races for youth and children. Participants can also engage in walking and Nordic walking events.
The course is officially measured and suitable for record-setting. All participants receive a certificate and a medal, with prizes awarded to top finishers.
