WelschLauf Südsteiermark

The WelschLauf Südsteiermark is an annual marathon event held in one of Central Europe's most picturesque wine regions, taking place on the first Saturday in May. The marathon spans 42.2 km, starting in Ehrenhausen and finishing in Wies, with additional races including a half-marathon and a quarter-marathon. Participants can also join as teams in a new Marathon Relay format.

The scenic route winds through vineyards and charming wine villages along the South Styrian Wine Road, culminating at the beautiful marketplace in Wies.
