Way of the Roses
The Way of the Roses is a new 6-hour running challenge taking place at Rawcliffe Country Park, York. Participants run a flat, 3.42-mile loop along cycle paths from Rawcliffe to Skelton, completing as many laps as they choose within the time limit. Distances can range from a single lap to over 27 miles, making it suitable for half marathon and marathon goals.
The event offers a supportive atmosphere with homemade cake, a fully stocked aid station, and a cupless format encouraging runners to bring their own bottles. Amenities include free parking and toilets, and all finishers receive a bespoke ceramic medal and goody bag. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
Always double-check with the organizer's website – things can change, and we might have sprinted past a few details!
