The event on May 16, 2026 takes place at 380 South Townline Road, Wautoma, WI. It is organized as a suicide prevention and awareness community run and walk, offering both a 5K and a shorter one mile event.

The 5K uses electronic timing. Overall male and female awards are given for both the 5K and the 1 mile, and age group awards are offered for the 5K only. All participants receive a finisher medal, and a participant t-shirt is provided with a guaranteed shirt for those who sign up by May 1. A pet registration option for the 5K is available for an additional fee and includes a pet scarf and a medal. Non registered pets, pets in the 1 mile event, and strollers are allowed but will be asked to start behind other runners and walkers.
Registration details note a price increase on May 1 and an online registration close date in mid May. Same day registration is available with cash or check accepted, and refunds are not available. A virtual 5K option is offered and virtual entries must be completed and submitted by mid May with participant shirt and medal pickup available at the Public Health Office at 380 S Townline Road on specified pickup dates.
