Overview
The Watford Alvinston Road Race 2026 is the 67th annual edition of this event. It takes place on Monday, May 18, 2026 (Victoria Day) at the East Lambton Community Complex (Watford Arena) in Watford, Ontario.
Available Distances
The event offers several race options:
- 8K (walk or run)
- 16K (run)
- 8K and 16K for youth under 18 years old
- 8K for wheelchair participants
- A 1K Kid's Fun Run.
Registration and Perks
Registration fees vary by category and period. Early bird registration (before January 1st) costs $50. Standard online pre-registration is $55, and race day registration is $60. For youth under 18, the fee is $25 for both the 8K and 16K races.
Participants who register before April 19th receive a free tech shirt. All participants receive a finisher medal.
Event Schedule
Registration and race kit pick-up occur on the morning of the race. Buses transport participants to the start lines. The starts for the different distances are staggered, followed by an awards ceremony.
