About the race
The Waterberg Race 3-in-1 is a road running event held at Fumani Game Lodge on the R101 near Mookgophong, Limpopo, South Africa. The event offers multiple race distances:
- 73.3 km (only permanent licences allowed)
- 42.2 km (Comrades Marathon qualifier)
- 21.1 km
- 10 km (gravel road through Fumani Game Lodge)
Online entries for the 3-in-1 package close on 15 October 2026; online entries for the individual races close on 2 November 2026. No late entries are available for the 73.3 km race. Late entries at the race venue are available for the 42.2 km, 21.1 km and 10 km races; an administration fee applies for late entries to the 42.2 km and 21.1 km races. A free finisher t-shirt is issued with 3-in-1 entries.
GPX route files and route maps are provided for the 10 km, 21.1 km and 42.2 km courses. Runners receive confirmation of entry via SMS and must bring entry confirmation, identification and proof of payment to registration. Prize monies are paid by electronic transfer no sooner than 30 days after the event. No refunds are given for event cancellation and no substitutions are allowed.
Race rules require adherence to ASA and LIMA regulations, wearing of licence numbers and race numbers with timing device, presentation of proof of age where required, wearing full club colours for registered athletes, and observance of marshals and traffic officials. The use of earphones is prohibited and children must remain under adult supervision at all times. The referee’s decision is final. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
