Washpool World Heritage Trails
The Washpool World Heritage Trails is a trail running event held at Mulligans Campground in Gibraltar Range National Park, NSW. It offers three distances: 9km, 25km, and a challenging 50km ultra. Runners traverse pristine World Heritage-listed rainforests, granite outcrops, and clear creeks, experiencing diverse landscapes including the Tree Fern Forest Walk and Boundary Falls Lookout.
The 50km ultra features significant elevation gain (+1,250m) and multiple aid stations, while shorter courses provide scenic loops through ancient forests. The event emphasizes environmental responsibility, is cupless, and supports female trail runners with inclusive policies. Camping and limited parking are available at the start/finish area.
