Wasatch Peaks Foundation Halloween 5K & 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk
The Wasatch Peaks Foundation Halloween event takes place on October 3, 2026 at the Wasatch Peaks Credit Union Plain City Branch. The event offers a chip-timed 5K and a 1 mile fun run or walk, with finish-line activities for participants.

The 5K will award custom race medals to the top three male and female finishers overall and in these age groups: 12 and under, 13-17, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-59, and 60 plus. Separate costume awards will be given for the best Halloween costume in the same age groups. Trick or treat booths sponsored by local companies will be located at the race finish for children participants.
Food trucks will be available at the finish; food items are sold separately and are not included in registration. A list of food trucks is to be determined. Course maps are provided for both the 5K and the 1 mile routes.
Registration opens August 1 and closes at noon on October 3. Register by September 15 to guarantee a t-shirt, race bib, and swag bag while supplies last. Registration fees are $5 for youth ages 5 to 18, $10 for adults 19 and older, and free for children 4 and under. Fees increase by $5 on October 3 and there will be no on-site registration. All purchases are final; the event policy states no refunds, no transfers, and no deferrals, including for inclement weather. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
