Wasatch Peaks Foundation Halloween 5K/1 Mile
The Wasatch Peaks Foundation organizes a Halloween-themed running event at the Wasatch Peaks Credit Union Plain City Branch in Plain City, Utah. Registration opens on August 1. Registration increases by $5 on October 3 and closes on October 3. A guaranteed race T-shirt is offered for registrations completed by September 15.
Distances offered include:
- 5K chip-timed race
- 1 mile fun run or walk
All race participants receive a T-shirt when registered by the deadline, chip-timing, a race bib, and a swag bag while supplies last. The 5K awards custom medals to the top three finishers in male and female age groups. Costume prizes are awarded for the best Halloween costume across the same age groups: 12 and under, 13-17, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-59, and 60 plus.
The race finish area will include trick or treat booths sponsored by local businesses and organizations for children. Food trucks will be available at the finish; food purchases are separate from race registration and specific vendors are to be determined.
