Wasaga Beach Triathlon and Duathlon - Wasaga Beach, ON
The triathlon and duathlon event is scheduled for August 29, 2026 in the Main Beach area of Wasaga Beach, located at 45 Beach Dr. Race operations are concentrated at the beach: registration, food, awards and the finish area are all situated by the shoreline.
Event formats include Sprint and Olympic distance triathlons, Sprint Swim-Bike and Olympic Swim-Bike options, Sprint duathlon, and relay categories. Relay participation requires a team captain to register and pay team fees; team members register separately under the captain’s team when applicable. The course setup features a paved transition area that overlooks the swim course, and the routes are described as flat and fast.
Registration windows carry different fees and close on August 27 at 9 AM or when entry limits are reached. Participants who register by August 9 receive a race-specific T-shirt; registrations after that date receive a series T-shirt. A $5 reduction is available for those who opt out of a T-shirt selection.
Policies include a refund scale (75% refund four weeks before an event weekend, 25% two weeks before, no refunds within two weeks) and applicable processing fees. Transfers between sub-events, between participants, or between events are permitted under specified fees and timing rules. All registrations must include a valid Triathlon Ontario membership or a Triathlon Ontario one-day fee. Participants receive a pre-event notice with course details, a final notice with bib information, and a post-race report with results and photos.
