Warrnambool Running Festival
The Warrnambool Running Festival takes place in Warrnambool and spans a weekend in September 2026. The course follows coastal areas and offers views of the shoreline, with specific locations including the Breakwater and Worm Bay. The festival presents multiple events across the weekend and includes family friendly activities.
The festival is community focused and open to participants of all ages. All events accept runners and walkers with no fee difference between those categories. Warrnambool Running Club members receive a $20 discount on entry fees. One event is a charity race that directs $5 from each entry to support the Warrnambool Surf Life Saving Club.

- Half Marathon 21.1 km course along the coast
- 10 km middle distance on the festival course
- 6 km short course for pairs or friends
- 4 km Breakwater Dash charity event supporting Surf Life Saving Club
- 2 km Worm Bay Wiggle inclusive run walk or roll at Worm Bay
