Warrior Foundation 5K : Loves Park, IL
The Warrior 5K is a 3.1-mile run/walk held in Loves Park, Illinois, with start and finish at Peak Sports Club. The course follows a paved bike path as an out-and-back route and provides water at the turnaround. A rucksack is not required to complete the 5K.
Finishers receive a completion patch. Age-group awards are given to the top three finishers in each age group. The event is part of a larger multi-event fundraiser that includes rucking and team fitness challenges; there is an additional patch for participants who complete all three components.
Registration for the 5K carries a stated fee of $40. The event does not offer race-day registration. The organizer follows a strict no-refund and no-deferral policy for registered entrants. The event is scheduled to proceed rain or shine, and the organizer reserves the right to cancel for adverse weather or other emergencies.
