The Warendorfer Emssee Run is a traditional public running event that takes place around the Emssee in Warendorf. Organized by the Warendorfer Sportunion e.V., the run offers various distances, including a half marathon, 10 km, 5 km, as well as children's and youth runs. The start and finish are located at the Warendorf outdoor swimming pool.
The event is supported by about 60 volunteers and is known for its varied route through the park landscape of Münsterland. Many health insurance companies recognize participation as a contribution to their bonus systems.
