About the race
The Warandeloop Tilburg is a three day international running event held in the Stadsbos013 (Oude Warande) near Tilburg University. The event takes place each year at the end of November and attracts about 5,000 participants and 6,000 spectators. In 2026 the event includes the NK Cross Country on 27, 28 and 29 November.
The event uses several marked cross country and walking courses. The courses are arranged in multiple laps for the competition categories. Key course details include:
- 5 km recreational course on largely flat paths in the Oude Warande.
- 560 m orange youth lap with some height differences.
- ca. 500 m green youth lap equal to the orange lap without the first forest loop.
- 1875 m yellow adult lap used by most competition categories.
- walking and Nordic walking routes offered in three distances, with a 2.5 km route available on paper.
Participants on walking routes receive a route description and there are route signs along the way. The descriptions of the different laps indicate how youth and senior categories combine the shorter rounds for their races. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
