About the race
War-X Trilogy is an obstacle course race weekend held in Southern Ohio, staged in Bloomfield Township and scheduled for a late June weekend. The event presents a mission-oriented, war-zone theme and includes elements described as live gunfire and explosive effects.
Across the weekend the program mixes short speed courses and military-style missions. Distances and race formats announced for the Trilogy program include:
- 1.5 miles Battle Challenge with a military-style mission and a live-fire range
- 3k speed course as the final event of Trilogy Weekend
The course design also highlights large-scale water attractions and technical obstacles. The venue features two 350-foot water slides integrated into the stripes of a very large American flag installation, and an Indian Mud Run low rig known as "Hubie's Revenge" placed to support completion. Promotional material references a mix of mud, rig obstacles, shooting elements, and pyrotechnic or explosive effects as part of the race atmosphere. The event is presented across multiple sessions over the weekend and emphasizes a themed, experiential obstacle course format rather than a single-distance race.
