Wapack Wilderness Trail Race
The Wapack Wilderness Trail Race is an 18 mile out and back trail event that begins at Windblown Ski Area in New Ipswich, NH and runs to the Watatic Mountain Reservation parking lot in Ashburnham, MA and back. The course is technical with rugged, steep sections and uneven terrain on forested single track. Runners should have prior trail running experience to handle the route.
There is a three hour time cutoff to reach the turnaround at Mt Watatic. Runners who do not meet this cutoff will be disqualified and are responsible for their own transportation if needed.
The event is organized by Running For A Cause. A portion of proceeds goes to the Running For A Cause Community Outreach Fund, which supports local charitable initiatives and trail maintenance.
Registration opens June 15, 2026 and closes September 16, 2026. The registration fee is $55.
