Wanda's Wonder Wander offers two measured courses on a narrative route. Participants follow a written route and set off in small groups. The route is un-marshaled and there are no checkpoints. Walkers are welcome.
Distances:
- 9.5 miles approximate long course
- 4.5 miles approximate short course
The event is hosted by Mid Essex Casuals and held under UK Athletics rules with TRA permit number 8646. It raises money for the Senior Staffy Club Dog Rescue. Under TRA rules participants may not run or walk with dogs. Minimum ages are 16 for the short course and 17 for the long course.
Entry fees are listed by affiliation status, with different online and on-the-day prices. Online entry offers the option to make a charity donation. The entry fee includes a £3 voucher to spend in The Wheatsheaf on return. A very limited number of on-the-day entries may be available subject to availability.
Parking is provided in the field behind the main pub car park. There is no bag storage area, so participants are advised to keep belongings in their cars.
