11th Annual Walk|Run for Kids 2026 : Sunland Park, NM
This community fundraiser features in-person and virtual walking and running options to support families staying at the Ronald McDonald House of El Paso while a child receives medical care in El Paso or Las Cruces. Event formats include both a 1 Mile Fun Walk and a 5K Run offered as on-site and virtual entries. Registration fees for listed events are $20.
Registration opens May 28, 2026. The schedule of online registration periods is: Early Bird through August 16, Regular August 17 to September 14, Late September 15 to September 30, and Last Minute October 1 and 2. Registrants who register by September 14 are guaranteed an official event T-shirt in their preferred size; T-shirts are not guaranteed for registrations after that date. The last day to register online for the in-person event is October 2. There will be no onsite registration on the day of the event.
Swag Bags are limited and available first come first served. Swag Bag and T-shirt pick up is available at the Ronald McDonald House on Thursday October 1 and Friday October 2 during posted pick up hours. The event includes age group awards for male and female finishers in standard age brackets and several event challenges such as Best Dressed Pet with gift card prizes, Best Dressed Team, and a Largest Team competition.
