Waldo McBurney Race
The 19th annual Waldo McBurney Race takes place in Quinter, Kansas, at 500 McKinney St. The event is sponsored by Castle Rock Health and Fitness and proceeds are used to support local fitness centers in Quinter, Grainfield, and Gove.
Distances offered include:
- 5 km
- 1 mile
- 200 meter kids race
- 5 km for 12 and under
- 1 mile for 12 and under
The 5 km route winds through the town and is described as a fast course with support from the local community. The 1 mile is scheduled after the 5 km and is presented as an option for those who prefer a shorter distance and as a cool down for 5 km finishers.
