Volksrust Marathon 2026
The Volksrust Marathon is a road running event held on 21 November 2026 at Volksrust High School in Volksrust, Mpumalanga. The course is an out-and-back route on tar road with undulating terrain and water tables every 2 km. The event is a qualifier for Comrades and Two Oceans.

Entry is by pre-entry only; entries close on 18 November 2026 and there are no race-day entries. Entry fees vary by distance, with listed prices in ZAR. Race pack collection takes place at Volksrust High School on the day before the race and on race morning. The event follows ASA rules and requires a temporary licence fee where applicable. Timing is managed professionally by BoutTime and electronic chips are required for official results. Walkers are permitted. Earphones are not allowed. Medals are awarded to finishers with specific placements receiving gold and silver medals; bronze medals are for official finishers. Refreshments are available on site.
