About the race
VOKOLO priglu is an annual running event held around the Brněnská přehrada (Brno Reservoir). The 15th edition takes place on 10 October 2026 and offers multiple competition formats for individuals, pairs, teams, companies, universities and children.
Distances and formats include:
- 14.1 km individual race (one third of a marathon)
- 2 × 7 km pair relay called the Parníková štafeta
- Four-person teams, company waves, university competition and children's runs and trail activities
The organisers note that repair work on the reservoir dam in 2026–2027 may affect the route; several course variants are being prepared to allow the event to proceed. MILT is listed as the general partner for 2026. Event registration, race rules, course maps and information for volunteers and partners are provided by the organisers. Gift vouchers for the individual race or the pair relay are available and are issued as PDF files by e-mail.
The route passes around the reservoir and features views of the water, Veveří Castle and the surrounding Podkomorské forests.
