33rd Annual Village Runner 4th of July Runs
The Village Runner 33rd Annual 4th of July Runs is scheduled for July 4, 2026, in Riviera Village, Redondo Beach at 1805 S. Catalina Ave., CA 90277. The event includes a 5K run and community walk along the Pacific Ocean route and several children’s dash events. All participants receive an Independence Day run t-shirt. The 5K is chip timed. Cash prizes are awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers in the 5K. Age division medals are presented to first through third place across the listed age groups. Kids dash finishers receive medals.
Event distances and entry fees:
- 5K Run / Community Walk - registration fee $45
- Kid's Dash Ages 8-9 (0.25 miles) - registration fee $40
- Kid's Dash Ages 6-7 (0.25 miles) - registration fee $40
- Kid's Dash Ages 4-5 (Dash, 100 m) - registration fee $40
Organizers are seeking volunteers for both race day and non-race day roles; volunteers receive a race shirt. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
