Village Creek 10K/25K Trail Run - January 23, 2027
The event takes place at Village Creek State Park near Wynne, AR. The park covers nearly 7,000 acres and includes about 26 miles of multi-use trails on Crowley’s Ridge. The trails feature creeks, mud, leaves, sticks, steep ridgelines, and a rolling pipeline. Finish refreshments include buttercream icing and warm homemade cinnamon rolls.
Distances
- 25K out and back route using trail markers 13 through 20, six hour time limit.
- 10K follows the same route with turnaround at marker 16 (picnic table).
Course and support details: aid stations are positioned at approximate halfway points for both races. This is a cup free event; participants must bring their own bottles. The 25K requires runners to check out at the turnaround; there is an approximate 3 hour 15 minute cutoff to reach that bib check.
Logistics: the start and finish are at the edge of the lower campground and include on-site bath houses. Camping and park cabins are available nearby. Registration specifics noted by the organizer: no race day registration, registration closes January 21 2027, no refunds, entries may be transferred to another person prior to January 21 2027.
