Event Overview
The ViK 5K is a running event scheduled for May 3, 2026. It takes place at High Point State Park in Wantage, New Jersey.
Course Details
The 5K course is run on pavement and is described as involving "lots of hills." The route starts in a dumpster lot near a trail head. Runners proceed left onto Park Road, continue up to the High Point monument, loop back down, and enter the monument parking lot for one lap in the direction of traffic. Participants then descend on the road, make a left onto Scenic Drive, run to its end, and make a right onto the main road. After crossing Park Road (with guidance from a race volunteer), runners continue on the left side of Park Road back toward the start before turning left into the start/finish area. On-course water will be supplied.
Location and Parking
The event address is 1480 State Route 23, Wantage, NJ. Parking is at the Lake Marcia Boathouse parking lot, located on the right side of the road approximately three-quarters of a mile after exiting Route 23.
