View Fun Run
The View Fun Run is a community athletic event held in Abilene, Texas. Organized to support the View Volunteer Fire Department, the event provides an opportunity for residents and visitors to participate in a series of organized runs and walks while assisting local volunteer firefighters. The event base is located at the View Volunteer Fire Department at 108 Grand Ave.
Participants can choose from three distinct distances:
- 1 Mile Walk/Run for those seeking a relaxed pace or shorter activity.
- 4 Mile Run intended for recreational runners.
- 10K Run representing a 6.2 mile course for more experienced runners.
Registration is open to the general public across all age groups. Registered participants receive an event t-shirt while supplies last. Registration completed after April 3 does not guarantee a t-shirt or specific sizing. Check-in and preparation take place at the fire department location prior to the start of the activities.
