Vienna Trail Run
The Vienna Trail Run takes place on 18 October 2026 and uses the trails of the Wienerwald with start and finish at Am Cobenzl (Am Cobenzl 96, Parkplatz / Restaurant Waldgrill, 1190 Vienna). The programme includes three trail races on carefully selected forest paths through autumn woodland.
Distances and elevation gain:
- 7.5 km - 300 hm

- 24.7 km - 1 000 hm
The event area is located at the Cobenzl parking and Waldgrill. Public transport access is possible via Wiener Linien buses 38a (from Heiligenstadt) and 43a (from Neuwaldegg). Access by car is possible via the Höhenstraße; parking is limited.
Start number collection is offered before the event at the WEMOVE Runningstore Wien Mitte The Mall and on event day at Am Cobenzl. The organiser operates the event as a Green Event: the race is carried out as ÖkoEvent Plus, it received the Austrian environmental label for Green Events, and it was recognised in a sustainability prize. Measures listed include reuse and waste separation, an explicit one way ban on disposable items, digital vouchers, and regional sustainable catering. The event publishes results and photos and works with partners and sponsors. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
