Vienna Night Run
The erste bank vienna night run takes place on 17 September 2026 and celebrates its 20th edition; the event was first held in 2007. The concept emphasizes shared running and community rather than competition by time.
The race covers 5 km as a single lap around the Vienna Ringstraße. The start is located on the Ringstraße at Burgring near the Natural History Museum and the finish at Opernring by the Goethe monument. The start and finish area is at Heldenplatz. The event area includes a main stage, on-site gastronomy, a company zone and cloakrooms.

Participants are assigned start blocks based on target finish times; there is a Nordic Walking category for which no winner ceremony is held. Start numbers for different blocks are printed in different colors. A start-block change is possible for a fee of €5 while contingents are available; changes are limited by the registration deadline.
Entry fees rise in stages depending on registration date, with individual prices ranging from €36 to €45 plus a €1 booking fee. Erste Bank customers with an Erste Bank IBAN receive a €5 discount for individual entries only. Registration closes on 06.09.2026. Start number pickup is at WIEN MITTE The Mall, Landstraßer Hauptstraße 1b, 1030 Wien on 15 and 16 September 2026.
The event has a sustainability programme: in cooperation with blue life, one VCS-certified mangrove tree is planted per participant; participants who waive the event shirt trigger planting of an additional mangrove tree.
