Vienna City Marathon

About the race

The Vienna City Marathon takes place on 18 April 2027 and comprises a program of races for adults, youth and children across Vienna.

Races and formats include:

• Marathon 42K
• Wiener Städtische Halbmarathon 21K
• Powerade Staffelmarathon (relay marathon, team format)
• Tchibo Coffee Run 10K, start at the Reichsbrücke, coffee and Viennese pastry at the finish
• Vienna 5K, one lap on the Ringstraße around the city center
• The Daily Mile 1600, for children and youth
• The Daily Mile 800, for ages 5-10
• Prinzessinnen- & Prinzenlauf, for ages 3-6
• Coca-Cola Inclusion Run, an event without barriers focused on inclusion

The marathon route runs past modern and classical highlights of Vienna and finishes in the city centre. The Powerade Staffelmarathon is organised as a team relay to share the distance. Registration status noted in event information: marathon places are running low and the Wiener Städtische half marathon is already fully booked.
