Run Through the Capital of Music
The Vienna City Marathon offers a diverse range of running events in the Austrian capital. The main course takes participants past modern and classical architectural highlights of Vienna, finishing in the heart of the city. The event focuses on community and movement, featuring a variety of distances to accommodate different preferences.
Participants can choose from several competitive and fun-run options:
- 42.195 km Marathon
- 21.097 km Half Marathon
- Relay Marathon for teams
- 10 km Coffee Run (starting at the Reichsbrücke)
- 5 km run or walk on the Ringstraße
- 1600 m and 800 m youth and children's races
- Prinzessinnen- & Prinzenlauf for children aged 3-6
- Inclusion Run for participants of all abilities
The event includes additional features such as a sports expo (Vienna Sports World), an After Race Party, and a specialized medical service (Running Doctors). The organizers also provide training opportunities, including summer runs and training camps. The 10 km event specifically includes coffee and Viennese pastries at the finish line.
