Event overview
The Victory 5K takes place Friday April 24 to Saturday April 25, 2026 in Hibbing, MN (206 E 39th St). The event is presented by Baron’s Pharmacy and is certified and sanctioned by USATF. The main running event is a 5K with chip timing provided for all runners. The race is organized by VCA Hibbing and includes a community pasta feed the night before.
Race details and extras
Registration opens January 17, 2026. Pre-registered participants by April 12 are guaranteed a finisher’s medal and race T-shirt. Early adult registration before March 22 is offered at a reduced fee ($30 adult, $20 youth); regular fees are listed as $40 adult and $30 youth. The 5K is open to ages 110 and under. A Free Kids Fun Run is open to ages 10 and under; T-shirts for the kids run are available for purchase but not required, and participating children receive a finisher’s treat after completing a loop around the school grounds.
Awards are given to top overall male and female finishers, top three male and female in listed age divisions, and top three in walking and wheelchair divisions. Team awards are based on categories such as Largest Team, Best Name, and Best Dressed rather than race performance. Proceeds benefit VCA students and the Project Care Free Clinic. Volunteer roles include race planning, race-day operations, and pasta feed support; volunteers receive an official volunteer T-shirt and an itinerary.
