Event overview
The Victory 5K takes place on April 25, 2026 in Hibbing, Minnesota. The main event is a certified and sanctioned 5K Run/Walk held at Victory Christian Academy in Hibbing. Chip timing is provided and the race uses USATF certification and sanctioning. The race program also includes a Kids Fun Run for children aged 10 and under and an option to purchase a Kids Fun Run T-shirt.
Race format, awards and divisions
Overall winners are determined by gun time and prize baskets are awarded to the top three male and top three female finishers. Age-division awards use chip time and are given to the top three male and female in each division. Awards are also presented to the top three finishers in the walking division and the top three in the wheelchair division. Age divisions for 2026 are: 0-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+.
Registration, fees and extras
Registration opened January 19, 2026. Discounted entry fees apply for registrations received by March 22 (adult and youth tiers listed). Registrations received by April 10 are guaranteed a 2026 race shirt and finisher medal. The Kids Fun Run is free; a Kids Fun Run T-shirt is available for purchase for the listed fee.
Community features and logistics
A pasta feed is held the night before at Victory Christian Academy with tickets available; take-out and race packet pickup options are provided. Proceeds benefit Victory Christian Academy students and Project Care Free Clinic. Volunteer registration is available; registered volunteers receive an official staff t-shirt.
