Veterans AC Open Cross Country Championships
The Veterans AC Open Cross Country Championships take place on 23 January 2027 at Wimbledon Common, West Place/The Causeway, London SW19 4UH. The event is organised by Veterans Athletic Club and is a cross country race of 7.5 km with men and women running together.
The race is open to all Masters aged 35 and over on race day. A current UKA registration is required and a club or national vest must be worn. Entrants who are not members of VAC or a BMAF Area Club should enter using their first claim club.
Race headquarters are on the grassy area by West Place and The Causeway. A course map and race instructions are provided by the organiser. Medals are awarded to the first three finishers in each age category from 35 to 100 plus, with the medals ceremony at Belgrave Hall, Denmark Road, London SW19 4PG.
Entry fee is £12 with a reduced rate of £10 for VAC and BMAF Area Club members. Entry is limited to 150 competitors. No entries are accepted on the day and entries close at midday on 21 January.
In line with UKA rules, the use of headphones is prohibited and may lead to disqualification. Entrants are required to be familiar with and agree to UKA anti doping rules, which apply for 12 months from the date of entry. Wimbledon Common is within TfL’s Ultra Low Emission Zone and is not in the London Congestion Charge Zone. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
