Vertical Slam Ultimate Challenge Beatton River Valley
Vertical Slam Ultimate Challenge takes place on the Beatton River Valley Viewpoint Trail in Cecil Lake, British Columbia. The event is a fundraiser for school food programs. There are no refunds for this event.
It is a trail event on rolling terrain with no official time cutoffs. Participants may run or hike. The published course options are:
- 5 km approximately 150 meters elevation gain
- 10 km approx approximately 450 meters elevation gain
- 21 km approx close to 1 000 meters elevation gain
For the 2026 edition the course is run in reverse compared with previous years: the 10 km approx route uses the half that the 21 km usually covers in its second half, and the 21 km finishes on the original 10 km route.
Registration information lists limited spots and fees in Canadian dollars for each distance. Registration was open from December 15 to June 1. Bib pick up is scheduled the day before the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
