Vertical Slam Ultimate Challenge Beatton River Valley
This event is a fundraiser for school food programs. It takes place at Beatton River Valley Viewpoint Trail in Cecil Lake, British Columbia, Canada on June 6, 2026. There are no refunds for this event.
Three route options are offered:
- 5 km around
- 10 km ish around
- 21 km ish around
Reported elevation gains are approximately 150 meters for the 5 km route, about 450 meters for the 10 km route, and close to 1 000 meters for the 21 km route. The course is described as rolling and there are no time cutoffs; many participants run while others hike.
For this edition the course direction is reversed compared with previous years: the 10 km route will follow the half that the 21 km usually uses on its second half, and the 21 km will finish on the original 10 km route. Spots are limited. Registration fees listed are CA$30 for the 5 km, CA$40 for the 10 km and CA$50 for the 21 km. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
