Venice Beach Half Marathon
The Venice Beach Half Marathon is scheduled for May 17, 2026 in Venice Beach, California. The event course passes along Abbot Kinney, the Venice Canals, and past Muscle Beach. Multiple race formats run on the same weekend and include distances suitable for adults and children.

- 5K 5 kilometer run through Venice Beach

- Grunion Run kids run event
Organizers offer structured training programs in partnership with Sound Running, including 8 to 12 week programs for both 5K and half marathon distances and optional track workouts. Several group training runs and shakeout runs are scheduled in April and May and are hosted by local partners and sponsors.
The event works with local merchants on Abbot Kinney to provide participant discounts during the race weekend; merchants require proof of participation to receive offers on May 16 and 17, 2026. Presenting and supporting sponsors include goodr, Costco Wholesale, Venice Chamber of Commerce, R.A.D., Hidroe Electrolytes, and Bombas.
A portion of sponsorship dollars will be donated to local schools in Venice Beach, Mar Vista and Marina del Rey. FEATSTREET Inc. will act as fiscal receiver for donations, which are distributed to beneficiary schools including Beethoven Elementary, Venice High School, Mar Vista Elementary and other nearby public schools.
