About the race
Velká Kunratická is a traditional running race held in Kunratický forest in Prague. The event has been held without interruption since 1934 and in 2026 it marks its 93rd edition on 8 November. The race is organised by the athletic club Spartak Praha 4.
The programme includes multiple race distances, for example:
- 370 m – 3100 m
The event uses age and performance categories; results are announced across 27 categories. The race attracts a wide community of participants, with thousands of competitors in recent years and a long historical start list spanning many decades. Official race merchandise such as event shirts is offered for purchase at the time when registration opens.
Registration for the 2026 edition is scheduled to open on 5 October 2026 at 20:00. Photographs and historical results from past editions are maintained and the organisers publish start lists and official results. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
