VechtdalTrail
VechtdalTrail is a trailrunning event near Ommen with multiple route options and on-route support. The event base is Atletiekvereniging ACO-Van Elderen, Sportpark Westbroek, Sportlaan 1, Ommen.

- 60 km Sahara, €31, max 100 participants
- 42 km VechtdalTrail Marathon, €29, max 100 participants
- 30 km Beerze Bulten, €26, max 200 participants
- 22 km Junne, €23, max 225 participants
- 15 km Ommerbos, €20, max 225 participants
Entry is by pre-registration only; registration closes on 24 October 2026 or earlier when maximum numbers are reached. The entry fee includes a contribution to one of the landowners. Organizers do not issue medals. A limited event shirt was available during registration; shirts are no longer orderable online.
The event uses chip timing embedded in the personalized race number and results are published afterward. The 60 km route has an overall time limit of eight hours and minimum speed calculations apply; there are cut-off times at aid stations and participants arriving after a cut-off may be required to stop or make their own arrangements. Aid stations supply food and drink but the event is disposable-cup free; participants must use a personal collapsible cup or water bladder. The organisation works with landowners Staatsbosbeheer, Landschap Overijssel and Landgoed Junne. Roads are not closed; usual traffic rules apply and safety measures are placed where needed.
