Event Details

The Vanessa T. Marcotte Foundation 5K Run/Walk is scheduled for Saturday, June 20, 2026, at the Wachusett Mountain Ski Area in Princeton, Massachusetts. This is the tenth annual event.

Available Events

The event includes the following:

A 5K run/walk.
A Kids' Fun Run, which is a 100-yard dash for children aged 3 to 10.
A virtual 5K option.

Course and Atmosphere

The 5K course is described as being mostly flat with one small hill. The event includes a post-race party with food, an ice cream truck, beer, a DJ, and activities for children. Strollers are permitted on the 5K course.

Event Purpose

Funds raised benefit the Vanessa T. Marcotte Foundation. The foundation works toward safety awareness, violence prevention, and gender equality. It provides community safety programs and self-protection training.

Additional Information

A silent online auction and on-site raffle are part of the event. Awards are given to the top overall male and female finishers, as well as top finishers in several age categories.
