Vanessa T. Marcotte Foundation 5K Run/Walk
The event is a community 5K run/walk held at Wachusett Mountain Ski Area in Princeton, MA. It includes in-person and virtual participation options and a short kids' fun run for young children.

- Kids' Fun Run (100 yards) for ages 3 to 10
- Virtual 5K run or walk
The 5K course is mostly flat with one small hill. Race-day amenities include a post-race gathering with a DJ, food, an ice cream truck, beer, raffle tables, and activities for children. An online auction will run around the event date and is open to bidders in the United States.
Funds raised support the Foundation's programs in safety awareness, violence prevention, gender equality, and self-protection training. The Foundation also partners with organizations to provide programming and mentorship aimed at addressing root causes of violence against women.
Awards are given to top male and female overall finishers and to top male and female finishers in age categories: Under 18; 18-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70+. Bib and shirt pickup and walk-up registration are available at the venue on race day, with an additional early pickup option the day before at a local bike shop.
