Van Nuys 5K Run/Walk : September 13, 2026
The fourth annual Van Nuys Division 5K Run is held at Van Nuys/Sherman Oaks Park at 14201 Huston Street, Sherman Oaks, CA 91423. The event offers participants the option to run, walk, or jog the full distance of 5K (about 3.11 miles).
The course is a three-loop route around the park. The first loop is a short 0.5 mile circuit inside the baseball diamond, followed by two larger loops around the park. A lead bike will guide the field. A water station is located at the start and finish area and will be passed three times during the race.
Registration pricing is listed at $35 for pre-registration and $40 for same day registration. A special price of $25 is available for cadet teams when using the provided link; the $25 rate requires use of that link to view the price. T shirt availability and sizes are not guaranteed for race day registrants.
Finishers receive a medal. Official timing is provided by Itz About Time. There are three parking lots located around the park to serve participants and spectators. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
