Awards and extras
Each registered participant receives an Ugly Sweater beanie hat. For the 5k, male and female competitors 13 years and older will receive 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place placement medals and raffle tickets for the Sips and Snacks raffle drawing. For the 1-mile run, male and female competitors 12 and under will receive Ugly Sweater placement medals and additional raffle tickets. After the race, downtown evening festivities include Sips and Snacks and the Merry and Bright Night as part of the Holidays Are Sweeter Van Meter Festival.
