Event Overview
The Valley Vineyards Wine Run 5k is an annual event that takes place at the Valley Vineyards Winery & Brewery in Morrow, Ohio. Participants have a choice of start times during registration. The run/walk is chip-timed by J3 Timing, with results posted online.
Race Course
The course begins at the vineyard and proceeds with a short portion on the road before an out-and-back section on a bike trail. The course map is available online.
Registration Details
Registration for the 5k includes a t-shirt, a shatterproof and collapsible wine glass, a finisher medal that doubles as a wine stopper, a race bib, online results, and a pour of wine. Participants aged 1-20 can register at a discounted rate. Age group awards are available for the top three male and female finishers in each category.
Packet Pickup
Packet pickup is available on Friday evening before the race at the winery. Race day pickup is also available starting one hour before a participant's chosen start time.
Additional Information
The event is open to participants aged 1-99. Minors receive a discounted registration that does not include a wine glass or wine pour. The race takes place regardless of weather, though severe conditions may delay the start. Strollers and leashed dogs are permitted on the course.
