Event details
The New Year 5K & 10K takes place on January 10, 2026, at Green Hills County Park in Raleigh, NC (9300 Deponie Dr, 27614). The event offers two race distances:
- 5K
- 10K
All runners must register on RunSignup. There is no on-site registration. A contact form is provided for race questions.
Course and logistics
The course is on concrete and uses a repeated out-and-back segment. The segment measures 0.78 miles one way and 1.56 miles for the full out-and-back. The 5K completes the out-and-back twice; the 10K completes it four times. The race has a course time limit of 2:00 hours.
The park gate opens at 8:00 am. Parking is located at the playground on the north side of the park. Bathrooms are located by the playground.
