Urban Legend 5K
The Urban Legend 5K takes place in San Antonio at 1006 Holbrook Rd, set near Victoria's Black Swan Inn. The event uses a simple out-and-back 5K course that is described as running through a historic and atmospheric area, with elements meant to create a spooky mood as the sun sets.
Event categories include a traditional 5K, a 1 Mile option, and a virtual 5K. There are also children categories for ages 4 to 10 with a paid adult and for ages 3 and under with a paid adult. Finisher medals are provided for all finishers. A Best Costume Award is included, and there are awards for Overall Male and Female, Overall Masters Male and Female, plus age group awards from 1 to 20 up through 80 and older.
This is an inaugural event and organizers note that medal and shirt orders depend on current registration numbers. Packet pick up is available on race day only at the race site. Virtual entries that include shipping will receive their packet after the event date. The event follows a no refunds policy; transfers or resale options are referenced in registration confirmation information.
Pricing tiers for the in person and virtual categories are listed by date, and there is a lower fee for children aged 4 to 10 when accompanied by a paid adult. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
