Uprise Festival 5k
The Uprise Festival 5k is a chip timed road race held at the Shippensburg Fairgrounds in Shippensburg, PA on Saturday, September 12, 2026. The course is a 5 kilometer out and back on roads. Timing is provided by Timber Hill Timing and finish results are taken from a timing chip worn on the shoe.
Awards are given to the first three overall male and female finishers and to one place in each listed age group for men and women. All awards are determined by gun time. Course records are listed by category with the following times: Male 00:15:49, Female 00:18:18, Masters Male 00:17:10, Masters Female 00:20:23.
Registration is open online until Friday, September 11 at 8:00 PM. Race day registration and bib pickup begin at 6:30 AM at the Shippensburg Fairgrounds and registration closes 15 minutes before the event starts. Entry fees vary by date: $35 from March 1 to August 31 with t shirts available, $40 from September 1 to September 11 with t shirt sizes not guaranteed, and $45 on event day.
Runners must wear their timing chip on their shoe and their bib number on their chest to receive an official time and remain eligible for awards.
