Up and Running 4th of July 5K
The event is a community 5K road race held on July 4, 2026, at Up and Running in El Paso, located at 3233 N. Mesa, El Paso, TX. The race distance is 5K (3.1 miles).
Entry fees were set at $35 through midnight July 1, 2026, and $40 for registrations July 2–3, 2026. There is no race day registration. Refunds are not available.
Packet pick up is held at Up and Running, 3233 N. Mesa Ste. 205, on July 2, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm, and on July 3, 2026, from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm. Technical t-shirts were guaranteed for the first 750 registrants.
Awards include trophies for the top three male and top three female finishers. Age-group awards are given in these divisions: 9 and under; 10–14; 15–19; 20–24; 25–29; 30–34; 35–39; 40–44; 45–49; 50–54; 55–59; 60–64; 65–69; and 70 and over.
Post-race refreshments include hot dogs and ice cold watermelon. Proceeds benefit Run El Paso, a nonprofit organization that promotes health and fitness in the community through running and related activities. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
