Up and Running 4th of July 5K
The event is the 19th Annual Up and Running 4th of July 5K held on July 4, 2026 in El Paso, Texas at Up and Running, 3233 N. Mesa, Ste. 205. The distance offered is 5K (3.1 miles).
Registration opens April 2, 2026. Fees are listed as $35 through July 1, 2026 and $40 for July 2–3, 2026. There is no race day registration and no refunds.
Packet pickup takes place at Up and Running, 3233 N. Mesa Ste. 205, El Paso. Scheduled pickup times are July 2, 2026 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm and July 3, 2026 from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm. There is no packet pickup on race day.
A technical t-shirt is guaranteed to the first 750 registrants. Finisher medals are provided to the first 750 athletes to cross the line. Awards include trophies for the top three male and top three female overall finishers and age-group awards for the listed categories from 9 and under through 70 and over.
Post-race refreshments include hot dogs and chilled watermelon. Proceeds benefit Run El Paso, a not-for-profit organization that promotes health and fitness in the community through running and related activities. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
