Up and Running 4th of July 5K
The 19th annual Up and Running 4th of July 5K is scheduled for July 4, 2026 at Up and Running, 3233 N. Mesa, Ste. 205, El Paso, TX. The event is a 5K running race held in El Paso.
Registration opens April 2, 2026. Registration fees are listed as $35 through midnight July 1, 2026 and $40 for July 2 and July 3, 2026. There is no race day registration. The event policy states no refunds.
Packet pick up is at Up and Running, 3233 N. Mesa, Ste. 205, with scheduled times on July 2, 2026 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm and July 3, 2026 from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm. No race day packet pick up is available.
Participant items and awards include a technical t-shirt guaranteed to the first 750 registrants and finisher medals for the first 750 athletes to cross the line. Trophies will be presented to the top three male and female finishers and age group awards will be given in standard age brackets beginning at 9 and under and continuing through 70 and over. There is also a trophy for the largest team. Post race refreshments listed include hot dogs and ice cold watermelon.
