United Way ClimbUP
United Way ClimbUP is scheduled for November 14 and 15, 2026. Participants climb the CN Tower, ascending 1,776 steps as part of a fundraising event for United Way Greater Toronto. The climb supports United Way work across Peel, Toronto and York Region and contributes to efforts to fight local poverty.
Every dollar raised helps connect an estimated 1.8 million people to services and programs in their neighbourhoods. The event distinguishes between adult and youth participation with different fees and fundraising requirements. Registration fees are listed as Adults $25 and Youth (13 to 17) $10. Climbers aged 18 and over must raise a minimum of $100 to take part, while youth aged 13 to 17 must raise a minimum of $60.
An early registration option is noted: registering by 11:59 p.m. on September 1 with the code early26 provides a 20 percent reduction in the registration fee. The event is presented as a fundraising climb at the CN Tower and is framed around raising funds for local programs and services across the named regions.
