SALOMON Ultratrail Fränkische Schweiz
The sixth edition of the SALOMON Ultratrail Fränkische Schweiz is scheduled for 23 to 24 April 2027 in Ebermannstadt, Upper Franconia. Registration opens on 6 October 2026. From 2027 the event offers a range of trail distances from short runs for children to a newly introduced 100 km Ultratrail.
The terrain is typical of the Fränkische Schweiz region and the published course information highlights cliffs, caves, singletrail sections, medieval castles and valley passages along the river Wiesent. The routes list notable elevation gains for those distances and several courses include many steep up and down sections and long stair climbs.
Distances and elevation as published:
- 100 km Ultratrail, 3930 hm
- 66 km Longtrail, 2750 hm
- 33 km Speedtrail, 1460 hm
- 15 km Shorttrail, 580 hm
- 4.5 km Youthtrail, 200 hm
- 1.4 km Kidsrun
The 100 km Ultratrail is new for 2027 and the organiser notes that nighttime sections will be part of that race with a lighting partner. The event name partner for the 2027 edition is SALOMON and other partners are listed in the event information. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
